Because something exists on the Internet .. does not mean .. you can use it as your own. The information, maps and photographs on this website have taken many years to gather & present. If you want to steal .. expect to be caught .. these pages are regularly checked in Copyscape and Google for text theft.
If you want to use any of our maps or photographs please ask .. these also are regularly checked for theft.

IF YOU HAVE RECIEVED AN E MAIL REGARDING THEFT OF OUR WORK.

This is the procedure you should follow ....

We have E Mailed you to tell you that you are using either our website text, maps, or photographs on your own website.
Copying content is lazy - so it is up to you to find out which text, maps or photos of ours are on your website and where (do not E Mail back asking silly questions) - it is about time you did some work.

You have one day (24 hours) from the time our E Mail was sent to remove (all of) the text, maps or photos from your website.
If this is not done we will initially contact your website hosting company and report you for content theft. In normal circumstances this should be enough (as they too are also held accountable for hosting content theft).
All things being equal .. this should result in your website being taken "off-air" until you remove the content. We will also then report you to any other website owners you may have stolen content from.

If you host the website yourself .. then we go to war ...

All of the work on this website has been saved at various dates & E mailed to several different mail accounts [and more].
Copies of all of our (Google cache) pages are saved each month and again sent to these E Mail accounts [and more].
All photographs and maps on this website contain a "barely visible" watermark and we have the original png layer files from which these jpg images were created.

If we should go to court ... we intend to win ... can you ??
