Both La Marina urbanisation and the village of La Marina are excellently situated in the southern Costa Blanca of Spain, close to the airport of Alicante and the N332 gives access to both north and south coastal towns. La Marina urbanisation belongs to the municipality of San Fulgencio, although San Fulgencio is slightly dwarfed in comparison, by both the size and population of urbanisation La Marina. The La Marina village on the other hand belongs to the municipality of Elche not San Fulgencio. La Marina village is basically one main road with a few off shoots, the property along the high street is mostly apartment blocks. .
