The annual Guardamar : Moors and Christians (Moros y Cristianos) Fiestas.Some fiestas last just a few days, others, such as that in Guardamar, last for almost two weeks. Highlight of the festival is the procession of the various bands (groups) of Moors and Christians, held on two successive evenings. These procession's lasts three hours or more. Each main group is preceded by a flag-carrier and then each sub-group is preceded by an animator, who attempts to gain the applause and support of the public for their particular parade section. Other fiestas held in Guardamar are February ; Spring Fayre. March and April ; Easter and Religious Parade June ; Dama de Guardamar. July ; Fiestas of San Jamie. September ; Virgen of Fatima and October ; Virgen of Rosario.
