Panorama photograph of Guardamar.
We have created a flash panorama photograph of Guardamar, taken from a high point inland. The panorama photograph was taken in December 2006; we will try to (hopefully) also do another panorama photograph looking into Guardamar from the sea. Click on the photograph on the left, to start the flash panorama movie, which will open in a new browser window. The panorama photograph begins at the northern end of Guardamar, the Castillo (castle on the hill), and pans all the way right, to the southern end of Guardamar. The whole town is thus covered in this panorama photograph montage. |

Photograph's of the Guardamar Town Hall (Ayuntamiento), and situated directly opposite, the Iglesia Sant Jaume (church of St James).
Both of these buildings are on the Plaza de la Constitucion on Calle Mayor, both marked on our detailed map of Guardamar.
The church can clearly be seen on our panorama photograph of Guardamar to the right of the Castillo (castle - far left of the panorama). |

Photograph of the Guardamar Tourist Information Centre and Museum.
The photograph left shows the Guardamar tourist information centre (Oficina De Turismo) which is located on Constitucion Sq, 7 (to the right, facing the town hall); although in the high season Jun/July/Aug, small tourist information stands are placed at the Bus Station (Estacion Autobuses). On the right is a photograph inside the Museo Arqueológico - Etnológico (which is housed inside the Casa Cultura), a museum explaining the work in Guardamar by the Engineer Mira to halt the advancing sand dunes in the early 20th century. |

Photograph of the Guardamar Casa Cultura and the sports complex.
The photograph on the left is the Casa de Cultura, situated C/Colon, which holds regular exhibitions and houses the local library. A small theatre in the Casa de Cultura is used for musical productions, film shows and plays. The photograph on the right shows the Guardamar Sports Complex with swimming, tennis, five a side football and pelota.
