GUARDAMAR RESTAURANTS

Highlighted below are a selection of restaurants and take away's situated in Guardamar, by no means all the restaurants in Guardamar del Segura.

Eating out is always a subjective matter - dependant on taste, circumstance and other things. Recommending a restaurant does not always guarantee a "great" culinary experience for anyone who follows that advice. So for those reasons please consider this page as simply a list of Guardamar del Segura restaurants and restaurantes, not complete, by no means definitive and not intended to sway your appetite in any way.

Complex situated off the N332 on the outskirt of Guardamar del Segura is called Via Park IV and is home to two restaurants / restaurantes - both Chinese wok buffets.

The complex pictured above Via Park IV was at one point home to a variety of restaurants ... but one by one they all closed down. Now only the original Guardamar Chinese Wok Buffet remains upstairs along with another Wok Buffet downstairs, which probably opened to cash in on the other ones popularity. It's sad that when a car pulls up the Wok Buffet downstairs opens its doors, as if to beckon the people in.
We have tried both Wok Buffets - the original (upstairs) Chinese was the better in our opinion ... although on recent visits the food seemed to be of inferior quality ... again our opinion.

Agra Indian restaurant in Guardamar. Agra Indian restaurant is on the Avenida Cervantes, at the junction with Jacinto Benavente. Restaurant Telephone : +34 965728457 ; owner Amritpal Singh. Good food and good service - enough said. Agra Indian restaurant open weekdays 14.00 to 24.00 weekend 12.00 to 24.00.

Chocolateria La Churreria. This place is just around the corner from us and if you've never tried it; then you must. Churros ... in the summer the Spanish are queuing around the corner for this : the specialty is churros with chocolate; I prefer it without the chocolate - but you decide. You can get a small portion for just one euro (with or without sugar) but chocolate is extra. The Churreria is on the Avenida Cervantes at the Jorge Juan corner, best eaten hot, sit in or takeaway. We have tried churros at other places - but - in our opinion this place does the best churros in Guardamar. The Guardamar churros shop is open morning only till around 12.00 - every day in the high season (only weekend the rest of the time).
